Valan Evers is an award-winning artist, college art professor, and international author. Her fantasy art, which can be found in galleries, as well as corporate and private collections, has inspired thousands to re-connect to their past, the old traditions and the ways of their ancestors through folk stories and mythology.

About her work, Evers says: There is a place where I go, deep in my soul, which has an affinity with legends, myths, ancient stories and old tales. That tantalizing realm where magic brews, spells are cast, destinies are forged and the gods once ruled.

I try, through my art, to keep alive these legends, myths and folk-stories because I believe they are an invaluable resource for understanding who we are, who we were, and who we can become.
